Evelyn Partners has welcomed Bahador Mahvelati as chief operations officer, a position he will take alongside being a member of the group executive committee.

Effective March 2025, Mahvelati will join the company from PwC UK, where he currently acts as a strategy and operations partner as well as leading the financial services value creation practice. He also held a number of operational roles at UBS Investment Bank and Natwest Group.

At Evelyn Partners, Mahvelati will oversee the cross-functional change programmes, client journey changes, and central services. The appointment remains subject to regulatory approval.

Paul Geddes, CEO of Evelyn Partners, comments: “We are delighted that Bids is joining the leadership team at this pivotal stage in the development of the business as we refocus on the considerable growth opportunities that we see in the wealth management sector. [Mahvelati] is ideally positioned to help us deliver our transformation plans and achieve the next stage of our growth.”
