Hood becomes Americas Head of Clearing for Marex

Marex has selected Stephen Hood as Americas head of clearing.
Hood takes up his new position from his prior role as North America chief risk officer, succeeding Jamal Oulhadj who will return to the UAE to manage the firm’s clearing business.
Bringing a wealth of expertise in risk management and risk analysis of derivatives products to the role, Hood holds over 26 years experience in a number of firms including MF Global.
Prior to joining Marex Capital, Hood acted as the global chief operating officer and global chief risk officer at ED&F Man Capital Markets, until the company was acquired by Marex in late 2022.
