Gatcliffe named new Country Officer and CEO for Citibank Canada

Raymond Gatcliffe has been named as country officer and CEO for Citibank Canada, succeeding John Hastings who is set to remain as member of the Citibank Canada board of directors.
Gatcliffe has been at Citibank for over 30 years, having begun at Citi Trinidad in 1994. He was most recently based in New York as the North American head of Citi's commercial bank.
As CEO and country officer, Gatcliffe will be responsible for the execution of the bank's strategy within Canada, as well as the strengthening of client relationships across the organisation.
On his appointment, Gatcliffe comments: “Having spent some of my formative years living here, I am thrilled to be back in Canada leveraging my experience with Citi in leading our franchise.
“Canadian companies are internationally focused and we look forward to continuing to support them with Citi’s leading global products and network.”
