Vermeg selects Achich as CEO

Software solutions firm Vermeg has appointed Tarak Achich as its new CEO.
With over 30 years of experience in capital markets, banking, and insurance, Achich brings expertise in leadership, management, and driving growth to his new role.
The appointment represents a key strategic move for Vermeg as it works to strengthen its leadership in collateral management and insurance.
Vermeg aims to accelerate its focus on delivering solutions to financial institutions across Europe, the UK, the Americas, and APAC region.
Achich has held a number of executive roles at Groupe Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, Oddo & Cie, and Euronext, and also served on the Vermeg board from 2008 to 2021.
Alongside this leadership change, Badreddine Ouali has been appointed chairman of the supervisory board, while Marwen Hanifeh has been selected as chairman of the management board.
Both hires will continue to work closely with Achich on Vermeg's strategic initiatives, ensuring continuity and alignment with the company's long-term growth ambitions.
