Rice moves to Morgan Stanley

Mark Rice has been appointed chief operating officer of Morgan Stanley's hedge fund services business.
Rice joins the bank from Advent Software, but has already spent 20 years at Morgan Stanley, leaving in 2004 to start his own business. He was chief technology officer of Morgan Stanley's prime brokerage division, before leaving to form Tamale Software, which developed research management systems for investment firms.
