Benjamin Keefe has been appointed director of advisory services by Gamma Finance, technology provider for secondary market transactions in illiquid hedge fund assets. He comes into the role from UBS.
Keefe comments: “This opportunity is unique as it will allow us to integrate my experience in asset management and investment banking with Gamma Finance’s expertise in the secondary markets.”
He has also served in a variety of roles at Nedgroup Invesments, HSBC, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. At UBS, he was a director responsible for risk assessment of new business initiatives and complex trades.
“Ben brings a wealth of experience, particularly in hedge fund analysis and due diligence,” said Florian de Sigy, founder and managing partner of Gamma Finance. “His fund management expertise will add another dimension to our offering. The secondary market for illiquid assets has evolved considerably since the height of the financial crisis, and Ben’s hire will enable us to deliver new and innovative solutions for buyers and sellers of illiquid hedge fund assets.”
