Bravura Solutions hires Calastone employee

Bravura Solutions has added Alex Hofmann to its propositions team.
He will be based in Bravura's London office and will be responsible for growing the Sonata wealth management business in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
Hofmann, who has more than 12 years of experience in the IT and financial services industries, will report to Nick Parsons, Bravura’s business development director. He joins the company from Calastone, where he worked as sales director for its cross-border transaction network, leading sales efforts across the UK, Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channels Islands.
Parsons said: "The appointment of Hofmann is an important step forward in the development of our propositions team capability and his sales experience will be invaluable as we continue to focus on the wrap platform market. We have made a significant and long-term investment in Sonata, a modern technology solution that combines life insurance, pensions and investment administration capabilities across a single product architecture."
Hofmann said: "This is an exciting new role and I am delighted to be joining the team at a time of rapid expansion. Sonata, our new wealth management software solution, is at the cutting-edge of wrap platform technology and I look forward to helping Bravura to expand in the UK and other territories.”
