Rhode Island’s general treasurer, Gina Raimondo has appointed Anne-Marie Fink as the new chief investment officer/deputy treasurer of finance, responsible for managing the state’s $7.3 billion dollar pension fund.

Fink previously held the role of managing director and portfolio manager at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. She will be replacing Kenneth Goodreau who has left the role after four years.

Commenting on the appointment Raimondo, said: “Our top priority continues to be to keep the pension fund sustainable for retirees, employees and taxpayers.”

“Fink is a successful finance professional who understands the importance of providing retirement security and will work to manage the portfolio’s risk and volatility while producing steady returns in these turbulent financial times.”
