Goal Group, a claims outsourcing provider and tax reclamation specialist, has appointed Noah Wortman as director of global business development.
Wortman will be based in the US office in Philadelphia and joins Goal Group with over fifteen years of experience assessing and analyzing potential corporate misconduct in the financial markets, in addition to helping to find litigation solutions for investors worldwide.
Headquartered in London, Goal has recently expanded its services by opening offices in Philadelphia, Melbourne and Hong Kong. Wortman assumes an important role within the company as it extends its services worldwide by providing class action claim filing services to corporate pension funds, global custodians, banks, local government authorities, brokerage firms and hedge funds.
Most recently, Wortman was part of the team that established the investor protection litigation department for London-based Stewarts Law in 2012 and served as the department’s director of case development. While there, he was responsible for identifying, researching, developing, marketing and initiating shareholder class actions arising from possible breaches of fiduciary duties and violations of the American federal securities laws.
