Ibbotson moves to G. H. after 23 years at LIFFE

After 23 years at the London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE), Mark Ibbotson has been hired to G. H. Financials Group as its group chief executive officer.
Most recently, Ibbotson was co-chief executive of NYSE Liffe, and focussed on exchange trading, clearing and regulation.
His role at G. H., which is a clearing firm for exchange-traded derivatives, will start on 7 October. Based in the London headquarters, he will be leading the global growth and expansion of the group, which currently has offices in Chicago and Hong Kong.
Peter Lovell has been appointed to the position of CEO of G. H. Financials in Hong Kong, and will relocate to the region to drive the firm’s Asia expansion.
