Bingham McCutchen LLP hires derivatives partner

Derivatives expert Daniel Budofsky joins Bingham McCutchen LLP’s New York practice group.
Budofsky advises banks, corporations and asset managers on domestic and international transactions.
As a derivatives partner at Davis Polk LLP, Budofsky worked on numerous derivatives and financing transactions, including fund derivatives and structured products.
In 2006 and 2011, Budosfsky represented the International Swaps and Derivatives Association in connection with the drafting of the fund derivatives definitions and the equity derivatives definitions projects.
Anthony Carbone, managing partner of Bingham’s New York office has welcomed Budofsky’s arrival, saying: “[His] reputation speaks for itself. He will be a valuable partner in helping Bingham clients navigate the changing regulatory landscape nationally and globally.”

Bingham is expanding its offices on an international scale. Seven lawyers have recently been added to its offices in Tokyo.
In 2012, 13 investment lawyers joined to its Washington DC office, and two joined the London office.
