RBC Investor & Treasury Services has appointed James Rausch as head of banks, brokers and exchanges in transaction banking.

Rausch joins the investor and treasury services operating committee in Toronto where he will be responsible for relationship management, sales development and product management. He will report to Chris Seip.

Rausch has more than 25 years of experience in financial markets. He previously served at energy company Powerex and has held positions at Toronto Dominion Bank and the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Harry Samuel, CEO of RBC Investor & Treasury Services, said: “Rausch will bring considerable experience to our team and we are excited by the benefit to our service and value proposition for banks, brokers and exchanges.”
