State Street calling Berger

Oliver Berger is set to join State Street as a senior vice president, head of strategic market initiatives for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
This is a new role for State Street, where Berger will be responsible for the development of State Street’s new initiatives and client solutions.
Berger is making the move to State Street after 19 years at J.P. Morgan. He will be based in Frankfurt and will report to Stefan Gmuer, executive vice president, head of sector solutions EMEA.
Gmuer said: “[Berger] has more than 25 years [of] experience within financial services, bringing a wealth of knowledge to our established team and complementing our activity across all client sectors in the region.”
