BNY Mellon recruits for client service delivery

BNY Mellon has appointed Douglas Shulman as senior executive vice president and global head of client service delivery.
Shulman has also joined the firm’s executive committee. In his new role, he will lead the bank’s client service delivery group, working with employees worldwide and provide services to clients that support BNY Mellon’s role.
Shulman joins from McKinsey & Company, where he was a senior advisor. He said: “I look forward to working with the rest of the team to drive innovation and a relentless focus on continuous process improvement.”
BNY Mellon also announced the appointment of Dan Kramer as executive vice president of client service delivery.
Kramer will direct and oversee the client service delivery strategy and execution for BNY Mellon’s asset servicing business. He will report to Shulman.
Kramer joins BNY Mellon from J.P. Morgan, where he was a managing director and head of fund services operations and the bank’s fund services business.
Prior to J.P. Morgan, he served as COO at Deutsche Bank Asset Management and in increasingly senior roles at Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch, covering areas such as money markets and repo finance, securities lending, prime brokerage and equities.
Commenting on the appointment of Kramer, Shulman said: “Kramer will be a valuable member of the team as we work to drive innovation and excellence in our business operations.”
