Former Manhattan federal prosecutor Jenna Dabbs has joined Pershing Square Capital Management as senior counsel.
In her new role, Dabbs will serve as senior counsel at the firm, working on compliance and regulatory issues.
She is the former chief of the narcotics units for the US attorney’s office in Manhattan. During the eight years as public prosecutor, she brought cases against large drug operations.
Dabbs commented on her new role, saying: “For me, it was a decision based on a prior relationship with Ackman, whom I have known for many years.”
She added: “I think it makes a lot of sense in this industry, a highly regulated industry, to have someone with a prosecutorial background.”
