GFT expands compliance team

GFT has hired Oriol Pujol as head of market structure for its new legal, regulatory and compliance practice.
Pujol brings experience in designing and implementing electronic trading solutions for banks, exchanges and brokers, and specialises in bridging the gap between the business, technical and compliance domains.
He is a qualified chartered financial analyst, and has held senior positions at Winterflood Securities, the London Stock Exchange, Charles River Development and Knight Capital Group.
Tony Sodhi, head of the legal, regulatory and compliance practice, said: “Oriol brings an in-depth knowledge of market structure, regulation and risk management in both buyside and sellside environments, making him a strong addition to team as we continue to build our legal, regulatory and compliance practice.”
