SimCorp has appointed Matin Engdal as director of global product marketing.

In this role, Engdal will lead its product positioning and drive market strategies for solutions based on current and future technology needs of the buy-side investment and management industry.

He has almost 20 years of experience in the investment management and financial services industry. He joins SimCorp from Advent Software, where he served as market strategist and senior director of business development for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Jens Olivarius, a senior vice president at SimCorp Group, commented: “The product marketing function is essential to our ability to communicate to existing and potential clients how SimCorp and our solutions excel in the market.”

“Engdal’s diverse and extensive experience, from both the client side and most recently from a key position with an established industry technology supplier, makes him the ideal candidate to drive that effort.”
