JTC Luxembourg has hired Christophe Lentschat and Jorge Fernandes to its senior management team.

The pair will be co-managing directors, responsible for continuing to drive JTC’s range of fund administration, corporate and real estate services in Luxembourg.

Lentschat joins from Apex Fund Services in Luxembourg, where he was managing director. Before this, he spent ten years at European Fund Administration.

He specialises in fund administration services and corporate governance, and brings experience working with regulated and non-regulated funds, as well as partnerships across various asset classes.

Fernandes previously headed up the Luxembourg branch of a specialist alternative investment asset management company. Previously, he managed the investment funds department of a Luxembourg bank, and he still sits on the boards of various investment funds and other companies.

The appointments follow JTC’s acquisition of accounting, administration and tax compliance service provider Signes.

Fernandes said: “Recognised as such an important financial services centre at the heart of Europe, Luxembourg continues to form a major part of JTC’s ambitious European growth strategy.”

He added: “It is an exciting time for JTC.”

Lentschat said: “JTC is making great strides in building its institutional client services capabilities in key financial centres worldwide to meet increasing demand from new and existing clients.”

“With our new management team in place in Luxembourg, we are firmly focused on developing our fund administration offering further and investing significantly in IT systems to ensure clients continue to receive a high quality service.”
