Funds lawyer joins Ogier in Jersey

Ogier has appointed funds and regulatory legal specialist Emily Haithwaite as a partner, based in its Jersey office.
Haithwaite brings almost 20 years of experience representing banks and asset managers in the formation, listing and closing of funds.
She has also advised investment funds, trust companies and funds services business on their regulatory licence applications and ongoing regulatory obligations.
Haithwaite joins from Bedell Group, where she was also a partner. She is also an active member of Jersey’s industry working group on the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive.
Niamh Lalor, head of Ogier's Jersey funds team, said: “I, with the rest of our Jersey funds team, am very much looking forward to the opportunities that 2017 presents, including having Emily Haithwaite on board to bring additional strength to our team of experienced practitioners.”
