RBC Investor & Treasury Services (RBC I&TS) has appointed David Brown as managing director and head of global client coverage (GCC) for Australia.
Based in Sydney, Brown will be responsible for leading all sales and client coverage activities in the region, and will report to David Travers, managing director and head of RBC I&TS Australia.
Prior to RBC I&TS, Brown was at J.P. Morgan, where he spent 20 years, most recently as executive director of sales and relationship management in Australia. He also held senior client-facing roles in Japan.
Travers said: “As we look to grow market share in the region, David Brown’s proven track record for developing businesses, coupled with his deep industry experience will significantly bolster our competitive position.”
He added: “Over the last year, we have been heavily focused on investing in technology, and our people, to ensure we offer clients an exceptional partnership that evolves as their needs change.”
