Guernsey Finance has appointed Adrian Norman as its London representative.

Based in London, Norman will be responsible for promoting awareness of the Guernsey’s finance offering, to connect financial services in London with Guernsey practitioners.

Prior to Guernsey Finance, Norman was head of operations at Ogier and Odey Wealth Asset Management.

Norman has more than 25 years of finance experience. He has also worked at firms such as Credit Suisse, Northern Trust and Carey Group.

Commenting on his role, Norman said: “Having built up many years’ experience working across various sectors in both Guernsey and London, I feel I have a good grasp on the needs of both jurisdictions and the areas where they could work together for mutual benefit I am looking forward to help grow Guernsey’s connections with the capital.”

Dominic Wheatley, chief executive of Guernsey Finance, said: “Adrian Norman’s roots are in Guernsey’s finance industry and his passion for his home island will make him a great addition to our team.”

He added: “Norman’s broad experience means he will be an important link for us across several sectors, and his role will complement the good work already done by Guernsey Finance staff in our most important market.”

“Our longer-term future is founded upon our uniquely symbiotic relationship with London as a major capital provider and a conduit to other economies.”
