Liquidnet appoints new head of Canada

Liquidnet has appointed Jay Lee as head of Liquidnet Canada.
Based in Toronto, Lee will be responsible for driving overall growth in Liquidnet’s Canadian business, expanding their footprint in the region, providing asset managers with access to Liquidnet’s full product suite and adding new members to the network.
Lee brings experience across capital markets and portfolio management, as well as analysis of the US and Canadian markets to his new role.
He joins Liquidnet from Morgan Stanley Canada, where he served as an executive director for the past eight years.
Earlier in his career, he has held roles at Blackmont Capital, Raymond James, Polar Asset Management Partners and Scotia Capital, among others.
