Estera has appointed Ethan Levner as group head of funds, with overall responsibility for fund operations across 11 jurisdictions.

Levner assumes this role alongside his responsibilities as managing director of Estera Guernsey and group head of corporate development.

Levner joined Estera in 2016 to lead the company’s growth strategy and devise and execute that strategy through a series of acquisitions.

Before joining Estera, Levner was director at AnaCap Financial Partners, a private equity fund focused on European financial services.

Prior to AnaCap, he was managing director of JRJ Ventures LLP, a private equity fund focused on European financial and business services.

Estera provides a range of administration services to blue-chip companies across asset classes including private equity, property, debt and funds.

Commenting on his new role, Levner said: “Our funds business plays a central role in the success of the Group as a whole and I’m delighted to assume responsibility for further development of Estera’s offering in the funds space. Alongside our funds team, I am excited to continue building our business whilst ensuring we never compromise our core values of commitment to our staff and excellence in client service.”

Farah Ballands, CEO at Estera, commented: “Ethan Levner has already played a significant role in our group growth strategy and the development of our funds business. His appointment as group head of funds means he will be able to drive further growth and help cement our position as a leading provider of fund administration services across our jurisdictions.”
