HSBC Securities Services bolsters asset owners and managers team

HSBC Securities Services (HSS) has appointed Tony McDonnell as global head of private assets.
In his new role, McDonnell will assume responsibility for the firm’s securities services offering for private and real assets to encourage continued market growth.
McDonnell will retain his post as country head for HSS in Ireland, continuing to report to Carl Andrews, regional head of HSS Europe, as well as Sebastien Danloy, global head of asset owners and managers.
In addition, HSS has appointed Michelle Butler as head of asset owners and managers, sales and client management, Europe.
Butler will also report to Danloy, undertaking the development of franchise client relationships and strategy within Europe.
Both appointments are effective immediately.
