Oak Group appoints new managing director of Jersey

Fund administration business Oak Group (Oak) has appointed Jo Gorrod as managing director of its Jersey office.

In her new role, Gorrod aims to support Oak in delivering its three-year strategy, which will focus on the cultural, operational, and commercial transformation of the business.

Gorrod has over 20 years’ experience working in the financial services sector in Jersey, focusing primarily on the private client arena, with experience in managing commercial and residential property structures.

Gorrod first joined Oak in 2018 as a client services director, after moving over from Equiom Group where she held the same title.

Commenting on Gorrod’s new appointment, Graham McCormack, CEO of Oak, says: “Jo has been a highly-valued member of the team since joining us and is a natural fit for the role of managing director. Our aim is to be a purpose-led organisation meeting the needs of the present without compromising the needs of the future, and Jo’s leadership skills make her perfectly placed to support the firm in achieving this goal.”

Gorrod says: “I am delighted to continue to work with the talented individuals in our Jersey team, and to have the opportunity to work more closely with my colleagues throughout the Oak family.”
