BNP Paribas’s Securities Services promotes Pauline Bernard

BNP Paribas’s Securities Services has promoted Pauline Bernard to regional head of France and Belgium, effective from 1 June.

Bernard will be responsible for leading the securities services business lines in the region. She will also follow BNP Paribas’s 2025 strategic plan — Growth, Technology and Sustainability.

Based in France, Bernard succeeds Pierre Jond. She will report to Alessandro Gioffreda, global head of territory management for securities services.

Bernard has served at BNP Paribas for more than 20 years. In 2021, she was appointed as head of sales for institutional investors for Continental Europe in addition to her role as head of client development for France and Belgium.

Commenting on Bernard’s new role, Gioffreda says: “Pauline’s recognised expertise in the industry, combined with her in-depth understanding of our strategic clients’ needs and extensive managerial experience, will be instrumental in further positioning securities services as a long-term, trusted partner in the region.”
