SimCorp has appointed Dean McIntyre as their new head of global commercial, a recently-created role. He will report to chief revenue officer, Oliver Johnson.
In his new role, McIntyre will be responsible for developing sales training, content creation and developing SimCorp’s growth ambitions.
McIntyre will also focus on strengthening the company’s market position following its merger with Axioma.
McIntyre joined SimCorp in January 2023, initially as director of strategy. Previously, he worked at UBS Global Asset Management, FactSet, Bloomberg, BISAM and Northern Trust.
McIntyre says: “With the market demanding stronger solutions based on better insights and a true understanding to enable asset owners and asset managers to operate more efficiently, we are well-positioned for continued growth and to further strengthen our relationships with existing clients and partners.”
Johnson adds: “With his extensive expertise in the financial services industry, McIntyre possesses the in-depth understanding and capabilities necessary to effectively lead and scale our global commercial teams, ensuring excellence in commercial endeavours.”
