J.P Morgan appoints new head of CFS

J.P Morgan has appointed Thomas Brand as head of custody and fund services (CFS) for Germany and Switzerland.

In his new role, Brand will lead the CFS management team locally and drive the growth strategy for the business.

Based in Frankfurt, he will have oversight of J.P Morgan’s product, sales, depositary services, client services, and operations activities.

Additionally, Brand will work alongside the heads of Luxembourg and Ireland as J.P Morgan continues to evolve their European strategy for CFS.

Most recently, Brand worked at DWP where he was division head for client management.

During Brand’s career, he has held senior leadership positions, which included head of investment services at BNY Mellon.

Brand has also held roles in leading sales, relationship management, and product teams at BNY Mellon, BNP Paribas Securities Services, and J.P Morgan.
