Plenitude receives investment from Growth Capital Partners

Financial crime, risk and compliance company Plenitude has received an investment from private equity firm Growth Capital Partners (GCP), to support its new software capabilities.

The investment will accelerate Plenitude’s expansion plans, which includes establishing a presence in Asia.

The news follows Plenitude’s recent appointment to the UK Financial Conduct Authority’s skilled persons panel for financial crime, where it works with a range of financial institutions to provide expertise, advisory and transformation services for anti-financial crime initiatives.

Based in London, GCP focuses on companies in the technology and services sectors.

Commenting on the investment, Asad Choudhary, partner at Plenitude, says: “The investment from GCP is a great catalyst for Plenitude and our ambition to be the leading consultancy in the financial crime, risk and compliance sector.”

Richard Shaw, partner at GCP, adds: “We are delighted to have completed our investment in Plenitude Consulting and to be partnering with Asad and [his] talented team of financial crime compliance experts. We are excited to now be able to provide this significant investment and strategic support to help to deliver the ambitious growth plans ahead."
