Digital wealth management software provider WealthOS and software testing services provider Exactpro have released the WealthOS platform as a sandbox.

A sandbox is a testing environment used to ensure regulatory compliance and security checks for financial operations.

Industry participants will be able to build and experiment with digital wealth management solutions on the cloud-native platform. WealthOS’s architecture allows users to design, test, and launch their digital wealth solutions, providing a feature set including order management, payments, and tax wrappers.

The platform uses a unified application programming interface to connect internal and external applications, and has a no-code integration marketplace that offers access to third-party wealth ecosystems such as payment systems and market data providers. This will allow for reduced costs and shorten time to market, WealthOS claims.

Exactpro has used its th2 automation framework to ensure the platform’s stability and safety, which provides functional and non-functional testing of distributing transaction processing systems.

Anton Padmasiri, CEO and founder of WealthOS, says: “Our sandbox significantly reduces entry barriers by allowing users to create and test fully-functioning prototypes ahead of seeking internal approvals or external funding. Moreover, users can rest assured that they will be experimenting with a reliable and safe platform that has met robust testing by Exactpro.”

Alexey Zverev, co-CEO and co-founder of Exactpro adds: "The variety of the platform's features and integrations gives room to apply different testing solutions. We have been able to match the complexity of the platform's cloud-native architecture with a cloud-native test framework and a bespoke set of industry-proven test method capabilities. This has ensured swift test execution and extensive test coverage."
