Apex Group (Apex) has expanded its Global Compliance Solutions platform to the US market.
This follows the recent launch of the solutions in Singapore.
The US division will be led by Michael Barakat, previously assistant director of compliance at Sanne, which has recently been acquired by Apex.
Global Compliance Solutions offers support in four key areas; ESG and sustainability compliance, anti-money laundering and due diligence services, compliance execution and regulatory reporting services.
The services provide tech-enabled solutions to help clients meet operational and regulatory obligations, working across international financial hubs. They also offer up-to-date support for changing regulatory requirements and advice on emerging technologies in the industry.
Hari Bhambra, global head of compliance solutions at Apex, says: “We view compliance as a business enabler and are excited by the commercial possibilities that an ever-evolving regulatory landscape will create for our clients in the US market.
This is an opportunity to bring not just US experience, but global compliance access to our clients, to support their operations across multiple jurisdictions and deliver connectivity across global regulations for optimum business efficacy.”
