Transaction Network Services (TNS) has developed and launched a cloud-based financial trading infrastructure solution for the Coinbase Derivatives Exchange (CDE).
The product is designed to reduce supply chain challenges at a time of high demand for network hardware and long lead times.
Through the partnership, the nearly 3000 endpoints of TNS’ global network will gain low-latency access to CDE. The hardware, hosting and switching system has gone live at CDE’s Secaucus, New Jersey and Aurora, Illinois sites.
The launch of this hardware system follows TNS’ release of its Dedicated Server for CDE’s infrastructure, designed to facilitate low latency trading execution, process large data sets and enhance storage capabilities.
Tom Lazenga, general manager of TNS’ financial services business, says: "We’re pleased to add CDE to our robust exchange community. Our institutional customers can now access crypto futures markets with resilient, high-performance connectivity.”
Boris Ilyevsky, CDE CEO, comments: “TNS helps us deliver a resilient product that traders and investors can trust. Crypto has witnessed both volatile and liquid markets and with institutional adoption remaining strong, we believe the time is right for the offering that TNS brings to the table.
“Dedicated cloud infrastructure connectivity coupled with our derivatives exchange represents a mission-critical step toward supporting and maintaining a vibrant and reliable crypto derivatives market.”
