Arcesium launches data platform Aquata

Global fintech Arcesium has launched Aquata, a new platform designed to improve access to and management of investment data.

The product is suitable for a range of participants across the industry, and is already being used by several Arcesium clients, the company says.

Using pre-built data models and connectors, Aquata enables firms to accelerate the integration and validation of their data, improve analytics and reporting abilities and quicken their overall time-to-market.

Data can be ingested from structured, unstructured and semi-structured formats, before being aggregated and normalised. Once stored, firms can use the data to make well-informed investment decisions, Arcesium says.

Gaurav Suri, CEO of Arcesium, says: “With self-service and low-code features and data visualisation capabilities, Aquata is a game-changer that helps investment managers make data-driven decisions with greater speed and accuracy.”

Gavin Little-Gill, head of investments and securities at Aite-Novarica Group, comments: “Data is a core pillar of our industry’s transformational architecture. Technology innovations, like Arcesium’s Aquata, are paving the way for firms to better manage data and are spearheading practices to modernise how organisations collaborate and share data across applications and business functions.”
