Virgin Money and FNZ launch digital investment solution

Digital bank Virgin Money has partnered with global wealth management platform FNZ to offer a digital investment solution for UK retail investors. The platform and mobile app were developed by Virgin Money Investments.

Virgin Money clients using the service will be able to invest faster and more conveniently, the company says, with new tools and capabilities available on the digital platform.

FNZ has provided the front-end user experience, in addition to investment operations capabilities across back-end operations, investor administration and contact centre solutions.

Using a direct-to-consumer (D2C) platform improves investment accessibility, in line with FNZ’s goals. Three investment funds are available, within an ISA or GIA, to investors of all experience levels.

Commenting on the announcement, Jonathan Byrne, CEO of Virgin Money Investments, says: “We’ve designed our new investment service to be accessible and straightforward for everyone — whether someone is an experienced investor or investing for the first time. It’s important that consumers feel confident enough to make the most of their money, particularly during these challenging times.”

Alastair Conway, CEO for UK, the Middle East and Africa at FNZ, adds: “We have a vision of opening up wealth by providing wealth management platforms that make investing more transparent, accessible and personalised for everyone. Technology is at the core of this and pairing our capabilities with Virgin Money will allow us to accelerate our mission and scale the delivery of our solutions.”
