Exchange Data International (EDI) has launched Corporate Action Alert Files, a new product built to accompany its Worldwide Corporate Actions Service.
The product provides users with an unlimited number of customised email alerts for up to 30 days before a corporate action comes into effect.
Alert files are available for dates from all fields in EDI’s Worldwide Corporate Actions Feed, including ex-date, record date, pay date and effective date.
This allows clients to keep up to date with corporate actions in a data-heavy environment, EDI says, facilitating more informed decisions.
Jonathan Bloch, CEO of EDI, comments: “This is a timely addition to our services, given that the US market will be going to T+1 and putting enormous pressure on back offices to be more efficient. These alerts will ensure that important dates are not missed.”
