BNP Paribas connects to Luma for automated pricing and trading via its Smart Derivatives API

Luma Financial Technologies has announced that BNP Paribas will connect to its platform to offer automated pricing and trading.

As part of the mandate, Luma users will be able to view BNP Paribas’ indicative and final term sheets as well as regulatory documentation, fed automatically from BNP Paribas’ Smart Derivatives API.

Trades will be automatically confirmed by BNP Paribas via Luma’s online trade workflow.

Luma is a Cincinnati-based provider of pricing and trading platform services for multi-issuer structured products and annuities

David Wood, managing director of Luma’s International Business, says: “BNP Paribas is one of the leading market makers globally, employing a technology-first approach in creating and issuing structured products.

“By connecting to BNP Paribas’ Smart Derivatives API, our clients will be able to price multiple product types with the option to trade electronically or with support from the BNP Paribas sales team, benefitting users seeking maximum efficiency when creating structured products.”
