Tradeweb completes r8fin acquisition

Electronic marketplace operator Tradeweb Markets has completed its acquisition of r8fin. The transaction was initially announced in November 2023.
Assad Fehmy, co-founder of r8fin, will join Tradeweb following the completion.
Technology provider r8fin offers algorithmic-based tools and a thin-client execution management system trading application.
Specialising in US Treasury bonds and interest rate futures, it can facilitate futures and cash trades.
Following the acquisition, Tradeweb’s clients will benefit from r8fin’s broad-based approach to US Treasury bonds and related futures.
The firm also expects to see a small increase in revenue growth and operating margins.
