Proxymity and Glass Lewis have entered into a partnership, in a bid to enable institutional investors to carry out the proxy voting process in a faster, more efficient manner.
Glass Lewis clients will now be able to utilise Proxymity’s technology and market connectivity within meetings that are supported by the company’s platform. The platform will benefit investors through instant meeting notifications, extended voting deadlines, and improved transparency within voting, the firm says.
The partnership will also mean that investors will be able to view and exercise accurate voting entitlements, and will enable issuers and their shareholders to communicate with the help of real-time transparent data.
Dean Little, CEO of Proxymity, comments: “We are thrilled to partner with Glass Lewis to empower institutional investors with unmatched transparency and efficiency in their voting processes. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in our mission to streamline investor communications and ensure stakeholders have the tools they need for informed and timely execution of their shareholder rights.”
John Wieck, chief operating officer of Glass Lewis, adds: “Our partnership with Proxymity demonstrates our commitment to improving the timeliness, accuracy and transparency of the proxy voting process through the use of modern technologies and streamlined solutions.”
