Innovate Finance, the independent organisation that represents Britain’s global financial technology (fintech) sector has launched a regional strategy to connect technology hubs across the UK.
The launch is part of a drive to promote fintech innovation throughout the UK, and is due to be announced at the first Innovate Finance global summit at Guildhall in London.
The event will explore the impact of technology on the financial services sector and how new innovation can help to create a better financial market.
Innovate Finance CEO Clare Cockerton said: “We are proud to be hosting a global fintech event that will build bridges and foster debate between start-ups, global institutions and policy makers in the areas of social inclusion, SME funding, digital currencies and financial literacy.”
She added: “We are using the summit as a platform to shine a spotlight on our members and to show the world how they are building a world-leading fintech ecosystem.”
