The SIX network service is back up and running smoothly after it's payments segment was experiencing disruption earlier in the week.
The issue was not related to the SIX Exchange, but led to disrupted card payments and difficulty in withdrawing cash from ATMs, a spokesperson said at the time.
The spokesperson added that SIX did not believe the issue was related to a cyber security breach.
In a statement, SIX said that the root cause of the disruption has been identified, isolated and resolved.
A SIX spokesperson could not confirm the root cause of the interruption, but stressed that all systems are now up and running normally.
