Linedata, a technology solutions provider, has acquired Gravitas Technology Services, a middle-office and technology services provider to the asset management industry.

Gravitas offers outsourced middle- and back-office operations, designed to be both comprehensive and scalable, and will bring over 20 years of experience in providing these functions to clients.

According to Linedata, combining its software platforms with Gravitas’s outsourced services will help it to provide a more tailored service, while distributing Gravitas’s services worldwide.

Linedata founder and CEO Anvaraly Jiva said: "We are delighted to welcome Gravitas’s clients and employees into Linedata. Gravitas’s award-winning outsourcing services, combined with our technology platform, will enable us to accelerate our ambitious and innovative Linedata 2018 growth strategy."

Jayesh Punater, founder and CEO of Gravitas, added: "Linedata's technologies and global reach will bring us genuine and unique abilities to extend and improve our range of services."
