Myriad receives ISO/IEC 27001 certificate

Myriad Group Technologies (MGTL) has received an ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certificate from Lloyds Register after completing a formal audit process.

The certification applies to an information security management system (ISMS) and provides requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and improving the recommended standards.

The result of the audit process confirmed that MGTL adhered to international standards concerning the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of its IT and professional services.

Furthermore, the certification highlights that MGTL had sufficiently minimised data management risks within the strength and longevity of its ISMS.

Simon Shepherd, CEO at MGTL, commented: “Attaining ISO certification is difficult and this is a significant achievement for the whole team. Our entire focus is on data security and preserving the integrity and privacy of our own and client data. At one level, certification simply acknowledges what we do very well already; at another, it puts in place a management regime to maintain those very high standards for the future”.
