Michelle Butler swaps HSBC for J.P. Morgan

Michelle Butler has left HSBC as head of business development and client management Europe for a position as managing director, head of sales, UK and Ireland at J.P. Morgan. Butler has been at HSBC since 2008, starting out as senior manager, trustee and depositary services. In September 2010, Butler became director of business development, a role she continued until July 2016. Butler has also been head of change, HSS Europe since 2016. Prior to HSBC, Butler served at BNY Mellon assistant vice president, trustee and depositary services from 2001 to 2008. Commenting on her new role, Butler says: “After 13 years at HSBC I’m delighted to be joining the team at J.P. Morgan as managing director, head of sales, UK and Ireland. I would like to thank my colleagues at HSBC, past and present for all their support and encouragement and some very happy memories.”
