James Kehoe joins FIS as chief financial officer

Financial services technology firm FIS has appointed James Kehoe as chief financial officer. He replaces Erik Hoag, who has held the position since August 2022. Kehoe has more than 15 years of experience in financial roles and joins FIS from Walgreens Boots alliance, where he was executive vice president and global chief financial officer. Prior to this, he was board director and chief financial officer at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company in Tokyo. Earlier in his career, Kehoe held a number of roles at Kraft Foods including senior vice president for corporate finance, senior vice president for finance for the company’s North America division and executive vice president and chief financial officer. Commenting on his appointment, Kehoe says: “FIS is highly regarded for scaled and trusted platforms, marquee clients, global distribution, and strong cash generation, and I am energised to join at this critical juncture and help drive superior financial and operational execution in the years ahead.” Stephanie Ferris, CEO and president of FIS, states: “[Kehoe] is an accomplished and internationally experienced chief financial officer with a distinguished record of success in driving shareholder value. We look forward to working with James to advance our strategic roadmap and achieve our long-term objectives.” “I would like to thank Erik for his many contributions to FIS over his 16 years.”
