Penson names Leone COO

Penson Futures, has named Steve Leone as Chief Operating Officer (COO), a new position. As COO, Mr. Leone will have responsibilities over Global Clearing, Information Technology, Finance and Accounting.

“During Steve’s tenure at Penson Futures, we have made strong infrastructure and operational changes,” said John Streich, CEO of Penson Futures. “Steve has shown the ability to adapt and effectively provide the necessary guidance and leadership to help move the company forward. His role as COO is integral to the growth of Penson Futures. We are excited for him to have this opportunity.”

Leone brings to this position more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined Penson Futures in November 2008 as director of Global Clearing and Settlements. Prior to joining Penson Futures, he was with J.P. Morgan Futures and ABN AMRO Futures as head of the North American Customer Service teams for each of those firms. Leone was also with Cargill Investor Services from 1987 through 2001 holding a number of operational management positions.
